Verdi pharmacy Training Programs
Verdi Pharmacy is a Pharmacy Council accredited facility for the experiential training for Doctor of Pharmacy students from all the Training Universities in Ghana and Pharmacy Technicians from the Technical Universities.

Our Mission
- To train registrable pharmacy support staff according to section 79 of the Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act 2013, Act 857 Part 4 that mandates Pharmacy Council to secure in the public interest the highest standards in the practice of pharmacy in Ghana
- To be committed to providing quality pharmaceutical care services to our communities through training, equipping and building of qualified auxiliary pharmacy personnel (MCAs) with the skills required to provide competent, acceptable and ethical ways of delivering quality pharmaceutical care in pharmacies and OTCMS
- To create job opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector through the development of people-centered pharmacy practitioners with employable skills who will meet the ever-changing healthcare in the communities they find themselves.
- To let the prospective candidates, acquire these skills at their doorsteps in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the lowest cost to them and their families.
School Director
Dr. Divine Azameti, is the CEO of Verdi Pharmacy and a retired Chief Pharmacist from the Ghana Health Service. He practiced for over 30 years in the Ghana Health Service and now over 20 years in Community Practice. He holds Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) and MSc. in Clinical Pharmacy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and is a Fellow of the Ghana College of Pharmacists with specialty in Social and Administrative Pharmacy. He was a trainer/facilitator in the Ghana Health Service till his retirement and facilitated varying topics on health and medicines management. He is a member of the International Federation of Pharmacists (FIP), the largest gathering of Pharmacists in the world.

School Coordinator
Dr. Mrs. Jasmin Kwara is a Principal Pharmacist who has worked with Ghana Health Service for over 8 years. She is also the Superintendent Pharmacist for Verdi Pharmacy, Aflao Main and combines her experience in the Ghana Health Service and Community Pharmacy practice to bare while training. Dr. Mrs. Jasmin Kwara also holds a MSc in Supply Chain Management from the Coventry University and facilitates in the Ghana Health Service hence experienced in facilitation especially in the area of Logistics/Supply Chain Management.The Director is a Preceptor in Community Practice for students prior to writing their Professional exams.
Facility
Verdi has Retail and Wholesale pharmacies, a 24-hour retail pharmacy. Also available is a warehouse and a little production unit that enables the students have a feel of what community pharmacy practice is all about. This places our students better in the job market.
Our classrooms are fully air conditioned and very comfortable for learning.
Teaching is by audiovisual, and the school provides reading materials on all modules for students.
Washrooms are available with hand washing facilities on same floor as the classroom.
There is guidance and counseling to help the students in both their academic and social lives.
All facilitators in the school are Pharmacists with various areas of specialty who are always available and readily support students even at a distance.
